Creed Batch Code Checker

Manufacturer: Creed

For Aventus and other Creed fragrances, inspect the bottle base or lower glass rim and the bottom or side panel of the carton under angled light.

Select Brand

Not the long barcode (EAN) under the black stripes. The batch code is a short, separate stamp of letters and numbers on the base, crimp or label.

Where to find the code on Creed packaging

Tester cartons and sample presentations can carry a separate short mark near the ingredient label or barcode panel. Record the presentation type before comparing it with a retail bottle.

  • Keep the short production mark separate from the long EAN, the product reference and any printed date. Photograph the bottle and box together before cropping the code.

Evidence notes used in this Creed guide

The explanations and summaries are written directly on this page. The source names below show which official, regulatory and community material informed the editorial interpretation; no external reading is required.

Creed official FAQs

Creed’s official FAQ provides product, care and customer-service context. It does not publish a universal public batch-code cipher.

Creed official house information

Creed’s official material identifies its fragrance portfolio and presentation context. The guide uses that context without turning house history into a date rule.

GUIDANCE

Where to look on Creed retail bottles, testers and samples

Search according to the presentation. A retail bottle, tester, sample and decant do not provide the same evidence. For Aventus, Green Irish Tweed and other Millésime fragrances, inspect the bottle base or lower rim, underside label and carton panels; keep the cap, atomizer, product name, concentration and size visible in a wide photograph. The existing gallery demonstrates real packaging variation. One Aventus tester carton shows F003235 beside a separate EAN, while another Absolu Aventus tester shows F001704. Those observations do not establish one character count or date formula for every Creed release.

FACT

Separate the Creed lot mark from EAN and product reference

The EAN barcode identifies the retail item type; a product reference identifies the presentation; the short lot mark identifies production. Only the lot mark belongs in the checker. On a tester, the word TESTER, the product reference and the production mark may sit close together, so preserve the full label before transcribing the code. Bottle and carton marks should be compared as a pair when both are present. A decant or bottle-only resale item has a different evidence record and should not borrow a carton code from another listing.

FACT

Read PAO and product condition separately from production timing

Read the exact package for PAO, durability and storage directions. Keep fragrance upright, closed and away from direct sun, high heat and repeated temperature changes. No universal Creed unopened-life or PAO value is assigned. A production-period result is not an expiry date. Changes in opening notes, dry-down or longevity can follow storage, oxidation, concentration, reformulation, atomizer output or skin chemistry, so record those conditions separately from the lot lookup.

GUIDANCE

If the Creed code is not recognised

If the checker cannot read a mark, use side light on the glass base and carton, then retry O/0, I/1 and B/8. Confirm that you did not enter the EAN, product reference or a cropped fragment. Older and regional formats may remain unsupported. Send a wide image of the bottle and carton, followed by close views of the base, ingredient label, barcode panel and suspected lot mark. Include the fragrance, concentration, size, market and whether it is a tester, sample or retail bottle.

GUIDANCE

What to include in a Creed package question

Preserve the receipt, seller details and delivery photographs when package information conflicts. For a retailer or Creed support request, describe the exact mismatch and provide the complete bottle and carton record rather than only a code screenshot. If the item is a tester, decant, refill or bottle-only resale purchase, state that clearly. The handling and packaging history affects what can be compared and which original labels are available.

Creed — FAQ

What does the Creed F003235 example show?

F003235 is visible on the photographed Aventus tester carton beside a separate EAN barcode. It is used to show which field to enter; CosmeticsBatch does not assign it a public manufacture date without an independently verified date pair.

Why can Creed batch discussions give conflicting answers?

Users often compare Aventus releases, but scent, performance and packaging can vary with concentration, storage, age, tester status and release period. Use those observations to document the exact product rather than to infer a date from an unsupported code rule.

What should I do when a Creed code is not recognised?

Recheck the bottle base and carton, retry ambiguous characters and make sure the value is not the barcode or product reference. Send full bottle, base and carton photographs when the short mark remains unsupported.
